| 32 Cents - This is the last value in the series and a cover with this value is shown in Figure 9. The 32 cents value was re-issued in 1884 for postal used.

| Specimen Stamps - Figure 10 illustrates the unique five values of the First issue, additionally handstamped "CANCELLED" (Type D4 as listed by Marcus Samuel in his book "Specimen Stamps of the Crown Colonies 1857-1948"). These specimen stamps were originally from the printer, Thomas De La Rue's day book. The De La Rue's archive materials related to Malaya and States were put up for auction on November 23, 1976 and April 20, 1977 by Robson Lowe Ltd. This unique specimen set was classified as Lot No. 1014.
